History

David Ludwig, owner of Ludwig Machinery Co. LLC (LMCo.), born Kiel, Wisconsin, into a family with a long history of manufacturing paper bag machinery. As a youth he grew up around paper bag machines, always intrigued by the explanations from his father of how the machinery operated and formed paper bags. Later in life, living in New York and working in the corrugated industry he accepted a sales position in the the family business. Mr. Ludwig is a fourth generation descendant of Herman G. Weber, known  as an early pioneer in design engineering of paper bag, converting, and packaging machinery.

 Drawing on 20 years experience in sales and development of paper bag machinery, Mr. Ludwig remains involved in the industry in a new direction offering a wide variety of pre-owned paper and film converting machines, with expertise in the paper bag industry. Uniquely positioned, LMCo. provides worldwide exposure for the purchase and marketing of machinery by direct contact access to sellers and buyers on a global scale.

LMCo also operates as sales agency for international converting and packaging machinery manufacturers.
